Moderna Vaccine Update

Thank you for the thousands of the Moderna vaccine registrants.  We are overwhelmed by the request for vaccines.  We did this for our employees to receive free Moderna vaccines. We sold our excess Moderna vaccines at cost or no-profit.  As announced, our deadline to register and pay is Oct 13, 2021.  

Those who paid after Oct 13 are put on a waiting list, ala chance passenger.  You will be given a vaccine schedule to either accept the vaccines for yourself or assign to someone else before the set vaccination date.  If RSVP Film Studios is somehow not able to give you a scheduled date for vaccination by end Dec 2021, your P3,300 per person will be refunded without interest.   However, if you are not able to utilize the given schedule or unable to assign the vaccines to someone of your choice for the scheduled vaccine date, your payment will be forfeited.

RSVP Film Studios’ Moderna vaccine Q & A, and updates. June 18, 2021.

2. RSVP Film Studios is doing its best to make the vaccine available to all willing employees for free, and for dependents and friends at our bare cost. But we are limited to the availability of the vaccines we prepaid in full since March 2021. We are mandated and compelled to follow DOH rules, guidelines & priorities.

3. The earlier you sign up, the better your chances and priority of getting the vaccine sooner.

4. Do register at your LGU barangay unit for the vaccine. Do not be choosey with vaccine brands. The best vaccine is the vaccine you can get for free as soon as possible. Starting in July onwards, many LGU barangay vaccine centers will have no-shows, thus will have excess vaccines. Be ready to suddenly go to your LGU barangay vaccine centers after lunch to try your luck before their closing time.

5. We give higher priorities to applicants who are also registered with their LGU barangay, rather than simply rely on RSVP Film Studios’ arrangements. Please email us your LGU barangay registration, and also why you specifically must have the Moderna vaccine and not any other vaccines brand or type. Please describe and elaborate on your comorbidity and condition.

6. When you get a notice from your LGU brgy for free vaccine, accept it.

7. If and when you have receive your first vaccine at your LGU brgy, it is recommended that you receive you second vaccine from the same source, and not rely on Moderna as you second vaccine.

8. If you do get the LGU brgy free vaccine, we will still keep your records. We will see if Moderna is the right booster or variant vaccine shot for you, perhaps in 4 – 6 months. Trials are now underway to evaluate the benefits of mixing different types of vaccines and variant booster shots, with good initial results.

9. After registration, employees of RSVP Film Studios are all set to get the vaccines for free, depending on availability and priority. But for dependents and friends, your next step is to pay P1,300 per vaccine plus P350 per health professional jab fee. This is a total of (P1,650 x 2 jabs) P3,300. This is our bare cost, no profit whatsoever.

10. If your company has made prior arrangements with RSVP Film Studios (like Litton & Co., etc.) and have given us a list of officers and employees, you do not have to pay for the vaccines and jabs.

11. For dependents and friends, pay P3,300 for two (2) jabs to BPI account number: 1673-0065-03. This is under the name of Resort Services Corp. Then take a cel phone photo of your deposit slip, and email the photo to info@rsvpfilm.com. If you do not get a confirmation of your payment in 3 working days, please call or email your usual contact at RSVP Film Studios.

12. Dependents and friends who have paid will then get a paid confirmation response, and your name will be submitted to a DOH approved vaccination center. Based on availability, you will be advised by sms or email when your vaccination date and time is set. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your assigned vaccination time.

13. In case you do get the free LGU brgy vaccines between the time you pay and when the Moderna vaccines are available, you may reassign your reservation slot and payment in favor of another person of your choice, subject to DOH required priorities. You may also consider a booster variant vaccine, perhaps 4 – 6 months later.

14. Estimated Vaccine availability schedule, quantity, and vaccination location:

1. Early July. Several dozens. Vaccination at Solaire casino function hall.
2. Late July. Several dozens. Vaccination at Solaire casino function hall.
3. Q3. About 400. Jabs at Solaire or a DOH approved vaccination location.
4. Q4. Over one thousand. Jabs at Solaire or at a DOH approved vaccination location.

15. RSVP Film Studios’ Moderna sign-up sheet will remain open as long as vaccines are available (and still unpaid for) or are still scheduled to arrive.

16. Book, register and pay (for dependents and friends) as soon as possible to improve your chances of getting the Moderna vaccine sooner.

Needed: Full Name, Birthday, Age, Brgy, Address, Cel phone number, Health concerns & Comorbidity if any. (per DOH sign-up requirements)

1. Cost: FREE of charge to RSVP employees.

Sold at cost (no profit) to employee’s family & RSVP friends.

P1,300/vac, + ~ P350 jab fee.

2. Vaccination Center (early July): Solaire Casino, designated function area.

Vaccination Center (August onwards): Solaire or DOH accredited hospital.

3. Transferable? Yes. In case you get a FREE brgy vaccine between now and the vaccination availability, you may substitute and assign someone else.

4. All are encouraged to also exert best effort to sign up and get FREE vaccines and FREE jabs at your local brgy. The sooner you and your loved ones are vaccinated, the sooner they will be better protected. By July onwards, many Brgys vaccination centers will have no-shows. So try going to the vaccination site at 2 pm, and try your luck. In-spite of being vaccinated, please still strictly follow proper safety protocol.

5. Delivery schedule of the Moderna vaccines and jabs are shaping up:

End June. The first batch. Very limited quantity.

End July. Next batch. Very limited quantity.

Aug/Sept. More.

We have asked Moderna the following questions:

1) If OK to vaccinate below 18 years old?

2) OK to take and mix different brands or types of vaccines & what interval?

3) give all initial vaccines, and hope to have vaccines arrive soon?

4) use Moderna vaccine as a booster vaccine after several months?

5) effectivity against covid variants?

6) Pls deliver at -20 deg C, not at 2 – 8 deg C. We have the TMDs and DDLs.

Moderna’s answers are still pending.
